Happy Easter morning to you, Bad!! I am back from four weeks in treatment for eating disorders. I may be going to long-term treatment somewhere else, though. We'll see...
Grateful for the spring flowers, especially our weeping cherry in the back yard!
And grateful for my friend/sponsor, Cathy, who picked me up yesterday and made sure I went to a meeting!
Things are a bit hairy right now. Well, more than a bit, actually. I lost my job and may very well lose my professional license as well as possibly my house and my marriage. Sound like fun?? NOT!! But I'm trying to do what is best for ME finally. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers!!

Grateful that we had the big family Easter celebration in our home.
Grateful to actually have a home, food on the table and to be able to open our doors to everyone.
Grateful for my 6 month old niece, my 79 year old mother and everyone in between.
Grateful for the love, the bad humour, and only putting my foot in my mouth maybe 3 times
.
It's good to be alive.

Grateful for actually sticking with a solid meal plan...finally!!
And grateful to get to see my own therapist today.

I am grateful to see you back today.. Try to get back to doing the things you did before, when you felt better.....
If you are not working then no excuse just for today......
Eating right, meetings, service to others and outside help.. You know the deal sweets.
I love you so much and am really pulling for you to make it back to a place of ease and comfort in recovery....

Aahhh!! A place of ease and comfort would be nice right about now. teehee. You are so sweet to me, L. I really appreciate it...Oh, and I love you, too!! Are there any residential eating disorder treatment centers near you? Haha. Actually, I may be going back to the place in Mississippi where I got clean. I just have to figure out how to finance that.

Grateful that my younger son's baseball team did not get beat by the 10 run rule! Almost even won!
Grateful to be given more work.

Visiting an old friend (70 something years old, beautiful!) who had a stroke recently and kicking her butt at cribbage (she's been doing that to me for years - no mercy 
).
Friends who invite themselves over for supper - bring their kids to play with my kids, bring the food & cook it! - so many laughs!
Having the nuts to finally tell my good friend that I don't drink - it's tough for the newly sober sometimes (fear, embarassment, pride). Drinking came up in discussion and "I don't drink anymore" just came out almost naturally! Only took 99 days to finally get that courage & confidence!
