Very grateful that Rella's brother does NOT have MS. Hopeful & praying that both her brothers get well and find peace. Grateful for the friendship request from Rella

Grateful that RZ posted about reflecting on a dear departed friends birthday. Made me think. So grateful for my best friend (irreplaceable) who passed away in 2000 - my fishing buddy, my confidante, my brother - miss ya Ernie! It was an honor. (just made myself cry)

Grateful I got good news that I do not have a cancerous tumor-however I have to have a "high risk" surgery to have it removed before it turns into cancer. This is when I give it to God now.....

Grateful to be sober today and to actually believe for the first time in ages that things can actually get better and maybe, just maybe, I can be happy. Thanks for the posts here, especially Lbad, that final quote from your daughter cracked me up. Children are hilarious.

Rella's courage.
My son walking on his crutches without help for the first time (nobody asked him to, I just turned around and there he was, smiling - so proud).
AA meeting (only 7 of us - felt like old friends).
Grateful for where the strength to stay sober came from today, the Creator taking care of me.

Grateful to all of you and the peace I found while reading this thread. Grateful that it is helping me identify with my Higher Power. Grateful that I CAN and AM getting sober, and that you are all here doing the same with me.

Grateful for my mother-in-law (no, really! 
) who invited my family to Easter breakfast & service at her church tomorrow morning. She is always surprised when I actually show up but what she doesn't know is that I really wouldn't miss it!
