I am having such fun reading these, lol.
Our condo recreation centre has a pre-Christmas night of carol singing and resident get together and I am going to have to try hard to keep a straight face when they sing the "normie" version of all these.
Keep 'em coming, you never know when Hallmark may drop by.

had a very tracked up arm
and if you ever saw him
You would even say hes doped up
All of the other addicts

They lie and steal from their loved ones
And never accept any blame
On one snowy Christmas Eve
Codie came and said

Dopey said he was very sorry
For all of the lies and things he's

He promised ole' codie that
he would never hurt her
but she kicked him out and locked the door

I miss our Thank You buttons (they'll be back soon) because I just want to send out huge hugs and big Thank You's to all of you for bringing us some Christmas smiles.
Hallmark missed the boat, I think, when they forgot to write cards for us.

When I first came here, Kiki, almost 8 years ago, I had not laughed in a very long time.
The codies here taught me that laughter was an important part of recovery, especially the ability to laugh at ourselves.
We've shared a lot of tears here, but we've shared some laughs that had my sides hurting. Just ask Dev...who I fully expect will be posting her verse here sometime soon *ahem Dev, are you listening?*
