I find healthy people boring...

I suppose when the thrill of being with dysfunctional people becomes too painful, it's like learning to finally stop putting your hand on that hot stove.
I also agree about learning to go it alone. Sometimes that can be the most fearful step ever. It's also the most introspective. That can be very scary indeed. Rewarding after awhile of facing the fear.
Then the biggest question of all. Will a healthy person be attracted to ME? Forget about being attracted to them at first...will they want you?
That question draws attention to our short-comings, doesn't it? A person with their life very much together might be frightening if we are dysfunctional.
A person with issues will overlook my issues, or yours, because they know we could point out their shortcomings.
It's an unspoken agreement not to point out each other's flaws.
