Hi Bartacomus

I have no sub experience either but you'll find a lot of support here.
Were you prescribed it?

Thank you for the warm welcome. It really helps to have an activity that stands in defiance of addiction. To have a place to go during those moments of frustration.

Sorry D, I missed your question first time I read this thread.. im very punchy at the moment.
Yes, I was prescribed Suboxone.. I also would take suboxone from the street. infact its cheaper that way. I cant begin to share about how horrible this medication is.

Its generally considered 30 to 40 times stronger than morphine, but without the analgesia.. which sounds paradoxical. Its like paying for an enormous morphine habit, but without getting an equal pain relief. If im allowed a personal point, I think the medicine has 1 use only, and that's to keep people under its influence. Not only that, but anyone can go and get this.. I don't know any doctor that would prescribe an equianalgesic dose of morphine though. I guess I did, begin to share.

thanks, bartacomus.

Sadly, this stuff is till out there and some doctors prescribe it.

I have no doubt they knew it was addictive as hell when they tried it one Rats.

But, as many other things, poor companies and governments need YOUR cash.

Patman, this community is rife with it. Its funny you mention rats, because one of the adverse side effects (in an absolutely shocking high percentage) was cancer.. albeit, at extremely ridiculous exposure.. but none the less, its a carcinogen. We will eventually see a class action lawsuit against this stuff.

Id like to put one thing into perspective about Suboxone. Withdrawal from any other opioid, is on the order of magnitudes shorter.. I mean, you could shoot heroin, and if you were able, would kick and start feeling better in a week.. this stuff has you sick, for months. Also, its the most expensive medicine ive ever seen, aside from chemotherapy salve.

Welcome! There are some people in my group having a harder time kicking the Suboxone than they did kicking heroin. Stay strong.

Thank you guys, I don't think it matters what different things we take/drink.. because we have a common factor between all of us.. and that IS us.
You guys have made 2 evenings much better, just by having something to do, something to think about.

Della, id would have to agree with those people that said getting off heroin was easier than Suboxone. its been considered as some.. saving grace, miracle drug.. and its not, its the exact opposite imo.
I do not want tto upset anyone with this comment, and this is only my opinion.. but I don't consider being on suboxone as being "clean".. not in the slightest.

im 11 days dry from it, and had I been on heroin, dilaudid, oxycontin, ANY other opiate.. id already started feeling better.. im a little over a week, into a month long withdrawal. its undauntable..
