little did i know, that when i started this thread,
would it have grown to this!
just a little Whiners Roast
we have queeny and KB, shopping and maps
least with the K's
Mrs C with her green thumb
fands, with her girly gab
ozy'y with his oztionary
HB still chase'n the Docs, with versatile Boobs
LTT who is on her way to becoming a senior
afi still throwing snowballs
Hev with the household hints
IWL still at the mall
Bam and the kitys
teach with her whiney words of wisdom, Shalom
toron gaulk'n at the cute guys
a whole bunch of drive-by whiners,
Brit, the newest member to our little whiney ass family
and aunt dee that is always keeping the hairy eyeball on this whiney bunch
There once was a group that complained
If lovelorn, in debt, or if it rained
but, their unity in whining
was their cloud's silver lining
and, serenity ultimately gained.

My whine is that I see the new 50 whine link and I can't respond because I am not allowed to log in. I had to resort to using another browser...stupid ie...
Happy Birthday Queenie...my first born child's birthday was the 6th also. He is 24! I think I am already a senior! But I'm not saying...

today we have an 80% chance of snow....we still have 72 days until the first day of spring....
In my sobriety I have discovered that I hate my couch, i can't live with it anymore....I am going out to spend big $$ on a sectional with enough room for all 4 of us to stretch out....there are sales going on....Ann will be jealous.
I felt a trigger coming on to drink last night....I called my BFF and planned an all day shopping trip for today,( insuring sobriety to keep up).....I took a benydril so i would sleep through my 3AM big trigger time, I remembered how good Lively Columbian porno coffee tastes when i'm sober....I feel i won this battle, but the war is still a crapshoot.
it is only 17 degrees, it's cold, there is ice on the road.
onward whiners!

Fandy - We're getting snow again too, even though it "NEVER" snows here near the beach. Be careful as you shop for the new furniture. I envy you, since I hate my couch & loveseat too - but can't spring for new stuff right now.

Fandy, odd that you had a craving to drink yesterday... I did too, but made myself 'get over it' by reminding myself how damn sick I was last time I drank. I remember how just one drink seemed to trigger an 'allergic' reaction and made me feel horrible.... yet I drank for two days anyway...
Not so yesterday!
My sensible self took over the reins and talked me out of a very bad idea.
I have no whines yet this morning. Slept in a bit and woke up feeling good and the headache was gone. And tho the van is snow-covered this morning, at least it's in my driveway ready to take me anywhere I want to go! Life is good!
