Please Stay On The Sober Bus Pt 55
Bim, that pic is stunning. Wouldn't it be nice? I do love that converted car in the woods too. That is very special. What a cool place to live for a while.
On the Sober Bus today with all you lovelies.
I bought some malted milk balls yesterday. I forgot how much I like those, although I shouldn't be eating so much sugar. This time of year always has such tempting candy!
Have a wonderful day, all. Love and peace. 💗☮💫

I don't like pranks either....a while back at a previous job, a coworker suggested we come up with something to prank our other coworker for April Fool's Day, and she was disappointed when I said how I didn't like doing that to people...she jokingly said "Oh you're no fun" and I was like "I know, I'm so boring"
I worked in a Cardiac care unit, as an RN many years ago. An enterprising night shift nurse put a cardio-dummy (a dummy person with electronics that could simulate different cardiac dysrhythmias) in a single room, in a bed-covered up- linked to the central patient's heart rhythm monitor-where each cardiac patient was, with stick on electrodes, monitored. The dummy was given a serious heart rhythm that showed up on the central monitor. The night nurse handed this new patient to the morning shift nurse, saying the patient had just arrived...leaving the oncoming nurse with about 15 pages of admission paperwork...a full care plan, blood tests to be done, inventory, medical orders, etc...at least 2 hours work.
The very flustered nurse spent a furiously energetic 10m sorting notes, until she finally went to do this new patient's obs (T,P,R, BP). When she found out it was a rescus dummy, the name clicked...'Mr A. F. Day* Of course it was April Fools day. She thought it was funny.

Interesting story Alpine. My brother-in-law owns a cabin that was once a church. The previous owner bought the small church and carefully took it apart, reusing all the wood to build the cabin.
On the bus!
On the bus!
On the bus, with coffee
Your own rail car, what a great thing to have! I love that caboose too.
There is a caboose in Shoreditch where I live that is a fairly well known local landmark. This isn't my pic and I would guess it's from happier days a few years old, sadly it was closed for a long time due to the pandemic and it looked very folorn. This not my own photo btw. It always looks very welcoming when open.
