Snow this late in the season must be disheartening Dragon. We have had non stop rain and thunderstorms for days on end here.

On the early work sober bus, coffee in hand.

Happy riding all!

I've got sweet peppers, celery and geranium's started. It took two tries to get the celery going, they are just tiny right now. Mrs D. Bought eggplant seeds which I'll be starting soon. Can't wait to get out into the garden.

On the bus.

I went to the zoo yesterday. I wish I would have known it was Spring Break. It was kinda nice to see so many people at the zoo enjoying the lovely day, though. The gorillas charmed their fans.

On the bus

This came up when I Googled VW van Gorilla.

According to the owners of Pioneer Auto Sales, just south of Leicester, Vt., the conversation that led to their lawn's hosting a giant gorilla holding a Volkswagen Beetle went something like this: When they asked local artist T.J. Neil to make a statue for the dealership, Neil responded, "How about a giant gorilla?" When they asked why a giant gorilla, Neil replied, "So I can make him hold a car." The owners' conclusion: "Sure, but make his other hand stretched down, so people can sit in it." Even if you don't need a new car, you can sit in the gorilla's right hand and stare in amazement at the golden VW Bug held 19 feet aloft in his left hand.

On the bus.

Your smileys arrangement suggests you have your creativity back ChloeRose.

I have a rather eye-catching statue of a miffed looking gorilla in the Pentonville Road about a mile from me. I have been to the sculptors website to read about what it represents - and still didn't understand - but I love it though. (not my pic although I have some somewhere)

Really interested to know if they rent/sell those flats Sao on Pentonville Rd: there is no way I would want to live there. What were they thinking I ask you?

And how could they do this to a Monopoly icon?

Up at Lake Shasta in NorCal, they rent house boats for like a week or whatever and people come up and spend vacations on the Lake in a house boat. It sounds relaxing and I'm sure lovely, but it doesn't really appeal to me either.

Love the smileys. Don't love my aging eyes. Must increase screen size by 10%...

On the bus

<~~ this used to be my favorite, but I can't remember its text identifier and I can't be bothered to try to find it when I want to use it.

Here's an entertaining clip for you. Rest assured that we won't drive our bus like that.

And now here an educational clip.

I think this explains partly why it's so hard when we first sober up. And why it's difficult to stay sober for the first while but get easier as time passes. We begin to feel better after a period of not drinking because our brains grow new neurons faster. And who doesn't like blue berries?

On the bus!

Those flats are occupied Venuscat, I quite like the statue, I am just not sure what it represents. I forgot Pentonville Road is on the British version Monopoly board. It is in the second cheapest group (light blue) but the area has gone up in the world since the 1930s.

Peculiar.

I would totally live at that building with the red gorilla.

2. We don't have gorillas in our U.S. Monopoly games. ::sadface:: At least I don't remember it: but to be fair I haven't played in over 50 years.
3. I looked at the sculpturer's website for an explanation of it too, Sao. . .and yeah, um,"What?" artists are deep thinkers?
