Please Stay on the Sober Bus Part 44
I can understand why some people might think masks are wrong, but yelling at your local shop keeper about it is plain silly. I'm puzzled by this need to rebel. Just wear it and get on with life. I don't know the current numbers but a couple of months back, Manitoba had issued 1.3 million in covid related fines.
Gloomy outside today. Will just have to make the best of it and go play in the garage.

Did you get the box made for your machine??
I had no idea, Sao, that this particular building was involved in both lives. I think buildings must have karma, just like people.
I work with an ex Londener (Is that the term to use?) who used to design sets for the Who in the early days. He told me a few crazy Keith Moon stories, and said that much of his wild behavior was tolerated simply because of his immense talent.
Mizz, we had a lot of issues with anti maskers early on, but that has quieted down a bit as life is returning to more of a new normal in my state. People whom want the vaccines are finally getting the opportunity, so it's not quite as stressful dealing with people who don't comply. I like the no shirt no shoes no service analogy Bim.
On the bus, coffee in hand.
Happy riding all!

On the bus.... with coffee in hand....
Wow... lots of stories about those that don't want to wear a mask.... and locking up casino machines ...too much for me this early
Thank goodness it is a Friday.... I can handle one day at a time....
The person not wearing a mask never should have been allowed in .....but for a person to listen to him..was a good thing.. Being Patient also good...

Yep re. masks. Try driving without a seatbelt or a helmet on a motorcycle. Now that I'm fully vaccinated and have 2 weeks behind me I'm not so worried - but I still double mask and keep my distance. I also avoid going out if at all possible.
On the bus, masks on, coffee in hand.

Masks, why do some people pretend they are medieval torture instruments? Very strange.
Have a grrrreat day gang!
The owner at the job I just recently left is one of those....he refuses to wear a mask and discourages everyone else from it too.... "We don't do masks here" ~ and I'd hear him on the phone if he was trying to make an appointment for somewhere else....as soon as they would mention his needing to wear a mask, it turned into an argument & I'd be like Ugh, here we go again...... It was SO annoying....Needless to say I'm really, really, really glad I don't work there anymore
Thanks for asking!
It's still a work in progress. I mostly work on these things over the weekend. I had lots of fun in the garage yesterday, I'm working on the base for my box and decided to put some nice trim along the bottom to match the trim I put on the top. Except in this case, I ripped the trim to 3/8" thick and I'm fitting it around a 3/4" lip of plywood I put on the base. I'm mostly doing it like that for the experience. I'll post a picture when I'm done.
Scruffy puppy seems to still be doing OK 'cept for the urge to poop all the time. Had a chat with the vet yesterday, we might take him back in for an evaluation. His bumps and lumps have turned kind of hard and crusty. And tho he's enthusiastic for his breakfast and dinner, He's not always finishing it.
And on the Vaccine front, the age eligibility dropped yesterday making me eligible so I booked immediately. May 1st is my date!
