That's right mags, the flu vaccine is tweaked every year. I started taking the flu shot about three years ago. Two years in a row I got the flu so bad it knocked me off my feet and took a long time to recover. And just like Star, Saou and others, I have not been sick once since I don't know when. I think I may just end up sticking with the mask routine from now on. A couple of us at work were moaning this week that we can't 'just take' a sick day anymore.
Scruffy Puppy had a real bad day on Wednesday, I thought he was nearing the end. Took lots of coaxing to get him to eat anything but then yesterday he started getting brighter and eating. Now today he is his old self again, bugging me to get out of bed and feed him. We will be seeing the vet again this afternoon.

What are the chances that I keep myself awake past 9 pm so I can watch one full episode of a show? Slim to none but I am going to try and I just might surprise myself.

My thoughts go out to you Dragon and Scruffy Pup!
Working until nearly midnight the day after a second jab is not to be recommended in my book. I was totally wiped out, even though I had slept nine hours the day before. That was really my only post jab symptom.

Long Weekend here, public hols Monday.
I went in to work after my 1st jab but I can't remember about the day after, we were on Lockdown so I might not have had to go in. I had zero side effects so fingers crossed I won't get any after the second.

I'm like Yay! another sober weekend!
Scruffy puppy is on more medication it's getting hard to keep track of his routine.
- 3 times a day 1-2 hours before meals or medications .for tummy
- 3 times a day for fluid around the lungs
- 2 times a day with meals for heart
- every 12 hours for diarrhea
- probiotics
- supplements
- smaller meals 4-5 times daily
- pick up water before bedtime
He's going outside two or three times during the night also.
I'm not complaining, I'm happy to do what ever he needs. I'm glad that Mrs D is home with him all day.
Getting my shot tonight! They are giving out stickers but I have to supply my own lollypop and I can't eat it until I get home.

Sounds like Scruffy has a good nurse there in you, Dragon. It is hard to keep up. Just last night I forgot one of the meds for my very old cat and it was the first thing I thought of this morning. I've been on years of giving medication and nursing. You're right, I don't mind a bit. She has been nothing but love and loyalty and I'll do what I can to make her comfortable. There's no stopping the march of time for any of us, eh?

On the bus and need a place to crash...... just not feeling up to par.... very low on energy ....but will be next week......

Second shot has got me down..... but my energy will be up in no time......I hope.......
No matter what covid shot you get ...the second one tends to knock us all for a loop no matter what...but we are strong and will fight it all the way..

On the bus. Haven't been posting because Mrs' brother had a stroke on the 25th and she went to the farm to help for a few days. He lives alone on a 200 acre farm on a deserted road. About a half hour after she left I passed an 8 mm by 5 mm kidney stone. I've got an appointment for this tuesday. More later.
