My big brother ia afraid of bridges. Once we were on a bridge that goes from Canada to the US and my dad was filming my little brother and me standing with one foot on each country. My big brother was screaming for us to get off the bridge! We then proceeded to sit with our legs dangling over the side...poor big bro...he went 'mad' lol We we just kids....

This place lightens my mood.
United we are strong...it is sometimes a blessing just to recount what we, as a group can accomplish.

Same here! So glad to be here with you guys, despite the grumpy female issues....sorry, TMI

Anyway, I'm not sure I'm afraid of heights, but once I was at Busch Gardens & stood in line for and hour at Sheikra (the roller coaster which climbs to the top, then hangs you suspended in the air - facing down - before a straight vertical drop....and that's just the beginning) ~ The screams were enough for me to change my mind at the last second, the group I was with teased me endlessly....and I still don't care

No way could I do the Grand Canyon skywalk.

I went to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Kings Dominion, stepped off the elevator, looked down through the grated floor, got vertigo, and backed my way around the elevator shaft until I reached the down elevator on the other side. Said “No way” to the Eiffel Tower in Paris

Hello everyone

I slept solid last night and had a very productive day today. I dreamed last night that I was on an Island and I was walking through a nice resort, it was a nice dream. Only problem was, is that I was stealing a beach towel from the resort. (in my dream).

So I just looked up dreams on the internet and it seems my dream had some significant meaning to what I have been thinking and feeling.

I always find dreams interesting.

Anyone want to go to an Island on the bus/boat? We can bring extra towels

I think it was at Sissinghurst Castle in Kent (England) I was very young on a family vacation. We climbed up one tower and everyone but me crossed over to the second tower. It was out in the open and the wind was blowing. Scared out of my wits I was. But there they were on other side about to leave me. I ran as fast as my stubby little legs would carry me, frighted half to death I'd get blown over the edge. Needless to say, I made it.

I have a very good approach to going atop high towers, suicidal roller coasters or anything with height and risk. This method works every time- 100%.

I look carefully at the height and the risk,

I take a deep breath and say to myself,

'screw that'

and go get a coffee.

They've changed it, they've actually upgraded it.

I was there in 2007 and it was literally only one pane, not a full floor. I need to head back, pronto!

On our lake there is a car that can drive onto the water and it becomes a boat!
You guys, I just love roller coasters! I also like this ride at the County Fair that takes you way up and then drops you! I have to go on that one alone because no one will go with me!
weeeee!

Ahhhummm Nope, screw it I'll go get a coffee. You'd be lucky to get me on the ferris wheel in the kiddie park.

OK, actually, ferris wheels are not so bad (The little ones), but I still have to hang on tight!

Congrats, CK.

I like PJ's and Dragon's attitude; we'll be at the coffee shop while the rest of you go on those death defying rides.

Time2, I'm already on an island (I live on one island and work on another) but I'll go anywhere this Sober Bus goes!
