Please stay on the Sober Bus -- pt.5
LOL, morning Purp. Better grab a pot full, we got a long drive today. Sober bus is rolling, who's gonna jump on the 'ol' wagon today?
Continuing the Manitoba Small Town Monument tour.....
Erikson, Manitoba
The "Land of the Vikings" as the Town of Erickson is known, was first settled in the late 1800's by a group of Scandinavian immigrants. To commemorate their heritage this monument was erected. It symbolizes the drive and hard work of pioneer settlers.

P.S. Sorry this one's got snow in it. Not many photos of this monument online!

I found this manufacture called 'Golden Dragon' and they make busses. I want to put in an order for a special luxury ride, just for the sober bus gang, but it hard to choose one.....

Instead of a bus gang, how about a ride in a giant Rolls Royce classic roadster?
Steinbach, Manitoba
"The Automobile city"
I can recall many TV commercials telling viewers it's worth the trip to Steinbach for a deal on an automobile. Erected by the local car dealers in 1991, this 1931 classic roadster Rolls Royce is twice the size of the real thing. It's interesting to note that there are no Rolls Royce dealerships in town.
