Thank you very much, Wolfie, for asking. I am just now getting over it. I felt physically ill for about two hours.

Women can be insulting to other women, but this really blindsided me today.

I have never been treated so rudely in public. I have never lied about my height, weight, or age. She couldn't accuse me of lying about my age because it's on my license, so she called me 'older.' She made me repeat my weight out loud twice (raising my voice), pretending not to hear me. And she actually said she didn't believe my height. That I looked shorter.

I have never been treated this way before.

Correction: That pic is M13, not M31.
Otherwise known as the Hercules Globular Cluster.
M31 is the Andromeda Galaxy.

Day 1 behind me of complete sobriety. I spent all week tapering off so the withdrawal wouldn't be so bad, and chose the weekend to detox the rest of the way. I was out in the garden first thing this morning and sweated like crazy (extreme heat warning out for this weekend!). I can still smell the whiskey in my sweat!

Only difference, I didn't start my Saturday off with bourbon in my coffee!! And I remembered going to bed last night!
