The bit with the gratitude list is important I think. It was for me, so that's why I share it here. What it helped me do was to make a new habit of mind, I had to have a list for my beloved sponsor of ten things daily! And my life was in the crap at that time! But still, I had to hunt all day to find the ten things. It helped me to take the focus off the bad stuff I was swimming through. Does that make sense?
I mean, sheesh! It's not like I asked anybody to take a shower or anything!
I know it's important for me to get out of my own head. I have to work at being well.
Right now, I don't know if I should just give up and step out of these particular discussions as anything I say seems to be rejected for any number of reasons,
I can only offer my own experience. Take it or leave it as you will, Sleepie.

Gratitude list was first thing my sponsor make me do too, Lenina. But it feel like fake empty exercise to me.
Now let me say this loud and clear: Lenina, if you steps out of any discussions, those discussions will be total worse for it! You is not rejected! I has push against you positivity for years now and yet I still hear you and it ESSENTIAL to me, okay? Speaking for me, I like to hear everybody genuine experience, even if it annoyingly positive. AND, I has to be able to express my total dark experience (cuz that my truth right now).
Both of this perspective is necessary and I think helpful to other. At least that my experience on this forum. Please, not ever step out, I know would be detriment to me.

Sleepies, is you feel any better? I gonna go to "sleep" soon. Which by, I mean, not maybe sleep but I at least rest/meditate for 4-5 hours.

I know it sounds bad but I do feel better at least someone cares... I don't mean to make anyone worry.
I slept about 4, 4.5 hours, woke up a bit, then back to sleep. I think I got 6.5 or 7 non consecutive hours of sleep yesterday and almost 6 non consecutive hours last night, I don't feel quite as "walking dead" at the moment.
I have to walk a bossy dog now...
