How many of you were ever arrested due to alcohol?
We got a saying around here. I didn't always get into trouble every time I drank but, every time I got into trouble I had been drinking.

4 times while intoxicated. 2x due to alcohol related irresponsibility. 0 times while sober. Hmmmm. Math does matter. Thanks for the post/ poll. Also 1 bar fight that resulted in an ER trip; I should have been arrested, but had a bad enough cut that required medical attention. As well as a broken collar bone from riding my bike when I shouldn't have. Anyone else? At seven months I can laugh at this and really process the fact that I should not drink; likely ever again.

Drink Driving. Banned for 2 years and £500 fine.
Got busted doing Coke too in a town bar and arrested and put in the cells. I was relatively sober that time too which is quite funny considering the amount of other times where I was wasted.
Stopped and searched a couple of times whilst in cars after picking up Coke, I was trollied and don't really remember much. I just remember cracking open a can of Tenants super in the coppers face, emptying my pockets. I remember the driver doing Coke through a straw out of the baggie whilst driving. Amazing how I never got killed in a road accident when I think about it.
Basically unless I drink I don't have any problems with the law. One of the major deterants for me giving up booze permanently is that i know I have no control. So once I drink then another drink driving offense/drug offence is inevitable and then any future prospects go out the window. My life is just totally unmanageable with booze.
If there weren't laws and damn police then it maybe different... but thats just the alkie in me talking I suppose.

Of all the drugs I've done, alcohol was the worst. I could be a zombie walking around not knowing what I was doing. Of all the drugs I've ever taken, nothing left me in this state

Nothing here. I guess I was always a "happy drunk" in college and never got into the fighting thing and never drove. After college, I just started getting wasted at home so I didn't leave the house to get in any trouble. Just because I wasn't arrested doesn't mean I wasn't just as sick on the inside as anyone that did get in trouble with the law. Good poll. It is interesting.
