There is a guy in the AA group I attend who has a heroin problem. He claims he is sober (i.e. does not drink), but I get a contact high when I am around him. He used to be homeless, now recently a guy with a lot of time, who has a resentment against me, took him in.

I've not come across that term before...contact high.

Are you saying you're troubled because he definitely uses heroin and this triggers something in you, or that you feel troubled around him so suspect that's evidence he's using something?

Just curious.
