Have a nice sleep Croiss i have just finished all the housework & just put dinner on (slow cooked beef shins) thier so so tasty with sweated down Leeks celery carrots & mushrooms I added a dollop of english mustard to the beef stock & it tastes heavenly and I sived musturd powder over the shins also i put it on gas mark 3 for a few hours and it will be served with deluxe mash

Hi all. Lunch time and it is hot out. Stress is kicking my but a bit. Feeling a bit down and i couldn't sleep last night. But its all in my head. I created this interpretation of stress. So i am just going let it ride and do what i can.

The great thing is you saw it. Recognised it. Give yourself credit for that, because all these things get us into the right thought process.
You're doing great, and anything that's happening in your real life is 100% less stressful than it would be if you were drinking.
let ~ you ARE doing really well. I really like Crois' advice. I know that's true for me...I still get into some pretty crazy thought patterns that can really cascade if I'm not careful.
Let, don't underestimate how good you are doing. A big thing for me was recognising some bad thought patterns that addiction gets us into. I still have to keep on watch for them now. One in particular is that everything is doom and gloom, and that you somehow are failing (at work, life, whatever)....which is the natural thought process our body creates in maintaining addiction that would have once led to and justified a drink.
