Can I just say, when someone falls here, all we see is the same pain we ourselves have been through and wish there was some way to help you see what you need to do.
Being kind to yourself is part of that. But being kind to yourself is also not drinking. That's how we love and protect ourselves. Leigh said it well, sobriety can be magical, and everyone deserves that.
Exactly. Lisa please know that as gently as I can say this, we sometimes project our OWN deep-seated disappointment when we've drank onto what we think others are thinking of us.

WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM MONDAY TO 7
AM EST TUESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW.
* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 6 TO 10 INCHES.
* TIMING...SNOW OVERSPREADS THE AREA MONDAY MORNING 4 AM TO 7 AM
THEN BECOMES HEAVY AT TIMES AFTER 8 AM AND CONTINUES INTO THE
EARLY AFTERNOON. SNOW INTENSITY BEGINS TO DIMINISH BY MID
AFTERNOON.
* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BE SLOW AT BEST ON WELL TREATED
SURFACES...AND QUITE DIFFICULT ON ANY UNPLOWED OR UNTREATED
SURFACES.
* WINDS...NORTH 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.
No biggie, this is typical for New England in Feb.
We got 10 inches Friday, but it's melted back to 4-6 inches.
Roof raking ! Geez don't slip. I always wanted to be able to see snow and have it here. Adelaide . But I don't fancy 'roof raking' and digging your car out & shovelling! Maybe it's best you keep it
