Class of April 2014 Part 23
Rocks, you're top of the class again!
My presentation went well, I'm so relieved, after so much work, it really paid off.
I can relax back in to my normal routine for a while now. I'm looking forward to getting this house straight. It's strange how cleaning the house suddenly seems like a great thing to do!

That's great Freein...knew it would go well. So....my heart is all discombobulated today. I was out last evening doing yard work to look up & see the Man I had dated a few years ago ( the one who ended up with my best friend) sitting in front of my house....said he was driving by & saw me & stopped to say Hi....said he tried to call me not to long ago...he is no longer seeing my ex-friend & he asked me if I would like to go to dinner sometime, I said sure & gave him my number. He is active in his drinking & I know this would not be a good thing for me...just seeing him has me feeling anxious & stomach is messed up. I will let him know when he calls that I do still care for him, but I am separating myself from anything or anyone that drinks & I have this job opportunity & really need to have my head in the game. This will be hard, as I was crazy in love with him.
More gun drama in the U.S.
Boy shoots girl for not letting him play with her dog...
15 years old boy in Australia, from Iran, charges police station and opens fire. Killing an off duty policeman...The police shoot him dead.
Australia is in real trouble now. We're dropping bombs on Syria on behalf of the US. Whilst our refugee/immigrants are carrying guns and taking on the cops.
Only one answer, if you carry a gun without a licence you get a year locked up, mandatory, no excuses.
Guns are for cowards..... or even lower form of life, big game hunters....
Liberty v Freedom is not even an issue here........ The issue is life or death...
Be very careful Mariah...... sounds like a trigger to me, and a big one at that...!
Angry, sad, frustrated and thirsty today.... dont know why, but jesus I could smash a few drinks...
stay tuned...............

I agree with the prevaling advice Mariah - you're getting things in order now.. and this relationship sounds like it might have the propensity to blow things apart again?
Thanks for your vote of confidence on Frankie, Free

It's not worth drinking over obo.
Extremist using children is nothing new, they have done it throughout history.
It confuses me how people will send children off to death.
As for the US shooting, the father of the boy should be charged for not securing his shotgun.
I also wonder where the morals are to knowingly try to, and unfortunately succeed, kill someone over something so petty.

My addiction will use anything to get me stirred up over all the madness we hear about locally and around the world. Have been writing a whole lot more emails to some of my congressmen lately about a few things I feel more passionate about.
Seems to help a wee bit !?
I totally agree about the little dweebs running around tryin' to be all hard
....with some piece in their cowardly little paws.
Prayers to that LEO's family.
Hang in there Obo,...
Thanks Big Brothers.... I know what I need "not" to do here....know it is the right thing from the sense of "ease" I felt with the decision. Just back from a Women's meeting......was a good one & where I needed to be this evening. Glad to be home & to have my sights on 30 days Thursday. Remembering what that last day I drank was like....nothing extreme, but lonely.
I'm sorry you are having a tough day Obo & glad you posted. Hang tight & I hope tomorrow is better....I know you wont regret waking with another sober day.
Have a great day Freein...I have t been reading my Richard Carlson book but think I'll crawl into bed & pick that up again.

Wonder who the biggest polluters are on the island ?
Coal power plants or something ?
We've got ( what used to be ) the biggest brown paper mill in the world a few miles south on the Savannah River. They've figured out a way to reduce the Sulphur smell ( rotten egg smell ) over the last ten years ,...
Did the school nuns smack you with a ruler for the profanity last week ?

SCAD ( Savannah School of Art and Design ) opened a second campus there,.... you ever heard of it ?
It must be small.
My hours are brutal. Hatched a plan to finish this quarter to accrue the vacation time for 2016 and use it early,....then go part time. They always need someone to fill in there for extra hours past the PT pay.
Just thinking of it puts me in good mood !!
Getting that "work life balance" is not as easy as it seems is it? It's more of a "time and money balance". I read about people who love their work so much that they do it as a hobby in their spare time too. That must be amazing, to be paid to do something you'd do for free anyway. Trouble is I haven't found anyone who would pay me to curl up on the sofa and read a book
