So, here is 2014 ... And after an epically bad year in dealing with my alcohol problems, even though life was so good to me this year, it's time to recommit.
I'm on Day 4, over most of the withdrawals, although still have severe facial sweats and the strange alcohol neuropathy pains in my arms. But, let me tell you, waking up this morning sober and being able to go for a walk by the beach, grabbing a coffee and running errands seemed like a god send. I've been isolating so badly that the only time I've left the house in the last month was to go to work or buy more wine. So sad!
Here's to a healthy 2014 - let's all make this a year we can be proud of on all levels!

Life sober is trillions times better, actually no comparison necessary. Life sober is true real life! And it's worth every step and effort taken on sobriety road.

Hey there I am from the class of September 2013 ! Like the other posters from prior classes, I also want to give all of you a very warm New Year 's welcome ! From experience, I would absolutely recommend that you stick to this class and post like there is no tomorrow ! It will be your safe haven and fantastic support for your recovery. I know my dear Septemberites saved my skin, that is a plain fact.
