Sounds in sobriety that you enjoy

Hearing water from a deep 925 ft well being pumped into a 5 thousand gallon storage tank. The sound of clean running water.

There is One to thank for this.
Especially in this desert dry California landscape.

I like the little muted noises the dogs make when they're dreaming. Little yips and woofs. I wonder what they dream about?

That little kitty -- "Little Rusty II"

I think that we have something like 15 cats outside now ?
A few of them are real talkers.
This one little guy sure has a lot to say to me every time I go outside.
Even though I'm not sure what he is saying, I always give him a kind reply.
He seems to enjoy our conversations.
If I was drinking today I probably wouldn't even know his name.
"Little Rusty II"
A nice sober evening wished for all,

I have learned new piano music in recovery.

The quiet sounds of the world waking up on a still morning. The rumble of thunder before a spring thunderstorm. The sound of laughter, happy honest laughter.

All of the above!

Also, the sound of my granddaughter laughing and learning to talk (ok, it's not really words yet but soon lol)

Definitely a new appreciation for nature sounds. Heard the wings of a turkey vulture as it flew overhead the other morning, the sounds of a lone bird singing in a tree at 5:30 am. Leaves and rain blowing outside my bedroom window at night.

Sounds of one singing

5:20 PM
My wife singing in the kitchen while she is cooking dinner.

Very peaceful here at home without booze in me.

A nice sober evening wished for all,

The hum of hummingbirds, the quiet chirp they make. I live in Arizona, in the path of their migratory flight on the way south

The tick tock of the clock early in the morning peacefulness (Before everyone gets up). Reminds me of a sleep over at grandmas house.

The sound of silence.
White noise, like the motor of our Christmas inflatable in the living room.
Rain hitting windows or roof.
The sound of my mother's laughter.
The sound of my own laughter.

The other day a large hawk zoomed right over my head as I was sitting outside smoking a cigar. That bird cutting through the air was a nice sound.

The sound of car tires on the wet street. I can tell it's raining without looking outside.

Howling wind.

I moved recently, and my building must be in some kind of wind tunnel or something. It makes me feel cozy when I light a candle and cozy up on the couch with blankets.

Ah, the sound of a cute little Wren Bird
that flies under our garage and lands on
either the riding lawn mower or our
Harley Motorcycle, singing up a storm
to either thank me for his worms or
just popping in to say hello.

I could be sharing or surfing on my
laptop and immediately have to
run outside to greet him. Sometimes
I cant get up and out of my chair
fast enough to make it to the back
door.

The peel of thunder after the flash of lightning then after a pause - a downpour of rain so heavy I have to shout to be heard. Then as suddenly as it starts- the storm goes- leaving a fresh, earthen scent with an aftertaste of water- then silence. The sound of silence.

I was outside today laying some small
bricks down to form a cobble stone path
and could hear the bells ringing at the church
that is right down the street from me.

It made me smile as I remembered as a child
hearing the church bells ringing from a far
that we belong to many yrs ago.

Just another delightful sound to hear in sobriety.
