Dear Smilesagain,
Good job on the 5 days!!
Are you going to meetings or IOP or any other support? (Besides SR)
And about if "anyone" is reading your posts...yes we are, many of us.
Keep posting, vent if you need to and never give up hope.
Really do suggest you talk to a Dr (regarding the meds) or therapist (regarding that annoying, yet powerful AV) get all the support you can
stand. The tools you will learn will be tools that you can incorporate into
your recovery plan. Tools that will be helpful for the rest of your life.
Keep up the good work and I wish you well on this journey to recovery.
Hugs to you from your SR family.
TF

Thank you everyone for the kind words.
Twofish - I have been doing some online NA meetings, but i need to really get to a f2f.

Keep going! You're doing great!
I would say the hardest part is over...now the mental part. That for me has always been the hardest. I've found w/ds to be predictable and somewhat easy..
The cravings, mood swings..those always are difficult for me. Keep up the incredible work!
Dee once told me something that stuck with me, "You never have to go thru withdrawals or detox ever again." You don't! Congrats!

Thank you Josh - I appreciate that!
226 hours and still going.
The one thing I have noticed over the last 4 days or so, is that I have been ok sitting on the couch and doing nothing.
Before that I was not looking forward to that.
