OK...I sure hope I don't "jinx" anything but here is the painting I did for daughter's new appartment....
"Serenity"...
I was inspired by a painting we both saw in a high-end retail shop and loved but it was wayy too expensive! Also, the original was an Asian girl and daughter asked that I paint it to resemble her with blond, curly hair.
I'm kinda' proud of the way it turned out and I hope she gets a feeling of peace and serenity when she looks at it.

Did you know that if you use acrylics you can paint a t-shirt and when it dries, iron it for at least 5 min., on high, to set it so it wont wash out?
Disclaimer: NOT responsible for t-shirts that don't turn out right. (best to start off using an old t-shirt, but new ones will work better)

Thanks lee!! Never heard of that before as we used to use the puffy paints for T'shirts and jeans, but maybe I will give that a try!
The painting looked so cool on daughters new bedroom wall and she was very careful to choose a spot that she could wake up and look at it all the time!! That made me feel really good to know she appreciated it that much!!

Well, I seem to have had wayyyy too much time on my hands lately so I decided to do another painting!
This one is of my parrot "Sam" with an Amazon forrest in the background...
And here is "Sam" checking out his painting! LOL!
I think he would rather eat my leather chair!!
