(((Med))) - nah, I don't think you can OD on cough drops, but with the menthol, they may keep you awake (I still smoke the few puffs of menthol cigs).

I'm trying to convince Mots that it's too cold to go outside. Ever try to argue with a cat?!?!?! Not easy, as I still don't speak "meow"....sigh.

(((Dee))) - ooooh, did Mrs. Dee get a video of you and the concrete? Just kidding...really wouldn't want to see that, or any of MY mishaps

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

Yah I can't start up the dose pack till tomorrow, according to teh doc. I have this albuterol inhaler but I'm worried it will get my heart more racing than it already is and with my heart problems with wolfe white, I really don't want to go there..... So already took a bath, but not much relaxed. Gee, I can handle pain, but breathing and panic attacks I don't handle well. Thanks for teh menthol tips.

(((Med))) - I'm sorry you're not feeling well, and I understand about the inhalers messing with your WFP stuff. I just sent you a pm, but let me say here.....I am sooooooooo in awe of you. You're going through stuff (with the BON) that I couldn't/wouldn't deal with.

Love, hugs and prayers,

Amy

I can handle it find when I'm not sick, throw sick into the equation and I feel nothing is do-able. It's a feeling it will pass. I somehow learned a trick that when I go to bed I turn off the world, it's a true letting go, letting god thing, I can't explain it, but so far so good. Now if my heart rate starts rising all bets are off. lol Nite nite.

(((Dee))) - I'm actually GLAD there's no youtube on your episode with the concrete...'cause that would make ME worry about someone filming ME when I am less than graceful

Concrete is tough....take care of yourself!

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

Dee I hope you are doing okay today. I'm sorry you tried to take a dirt nap literally in the yard. You looked great on google!!!! Hugs for the pain and sending you a magic bandaid for your ouchie. I do love you boy!

I slept like the dead, got up took my 2 "crazy" steroid pills of the morning, got about 5 more till bedtime and wondering what hell I've unleashed taking them, as in will I get more INsane or will I be able to breathe, here's hoping. Not looking forward to the water wt gain and the mood swings they bring. I feel okay right now, but the way this problem is... it gets worse as the day goes and by bedtime I'm sick which sounds so much like an allergy. Probably all these cats, even though they are outdoor kitties, just the dander, fur on the clothes brought into the house and the ones that escape into the house. I can't give them away, they were so homeless and desperate before they arrived. Never have bought one cat. The first one was so hungry he was eating bird suet... so I guess I'll just endure thru this, usually not bothered the rest of the year, it's just when the heat pumps come on everywhere and it's dry heat and cold air and the sudden change in temps from 70 to 24. Too much shock on the system.

Thanks guys for all the help last night, I was fully in panic mode.

Love to all you sweet hens/roosters.

((((HenHousers!!)))

Woohoo! I actually slept well and all night too! Maybe it's being out of my house? I know I like having a bed to myself. I like to lay sideways. LOL And it's a good mattress. We need a new mattress at home. It's 20 years old!

(((med))) I hope you're feeling better soon. Have you tried a vaporizer? Sometimes when I'm very congested, I like to sit in a steamy tub and just breath in the moist vapors. Hey, have you heard the old wives tale about rubbing the soles of your feet with Vicks Vapo-Rub? A friend of mine swears it wards off colds. He tells me his mom taught him this. Before bed, rub Vicks on just the soles of the feet and then put on cotton socks. By morning, all is well. Or so he says. I have some Vicks in my bag but always forget to use it.

(((Dee))) Hope you're not feeling any after effects from your tumble. You're not in the flood zone are you?

(((Amy)) I hope stores went well and you had some fun.

I am pretty sure I can't get internet so I'll be offline until Friday. So, until then, please be safe and be well.

Much love to all!

Lenina

It's a very cute village, if you have the time.

Just taking it *very easy* for the next few days LOL

Dee that is not good. Is something going on that's causing this being off balance? I worry about you. So how many fingers am I holding up? I know I'm being silly but head injuries are scary. What happened? Please please take care of you.

I tend to get clusters of falls - but my balance is never very good anyway - one injury throws everything off & compounds the problem I think.

I just slipped out of the shower going back to my room.
I really am OK tho - I'm quite paranoid about concussion LOL

cluster falls .... well I can see that if one side is weakened by a fall it makes sense that to compensate you'd lean more and fall the other way. I certainly know about this, when daughter was born I was not able to walk for 4 months and I crawled everywhere, when I did try to stand I'd lurch and it was very hard. so this is with shiny new rails installed. Have you tried a shower chair? It makes life easy till you heal up. Just please please take care of your self. we are a fine pair, I can't breathe and you can't do right angles. Gah! I hope things ease up sweet dee.

Hey Kirby, Thank you so much for letting us know how Jay is doing, we miss him but we also know he's in a good place to be to get help. He was so upset about not being able to do Thanksgiving with you. You're right he's a great guy. I hope you're doing good too Kirby and anytime you want to stop by here and say hello or chat or anything we are all here. Some of the hens are at work now, some are on the road traveling, one is nursing a fall, but yeah a bunch of people have run thru here and asked if we'd heard anything about Jay. You and he are very special special people. Lovely lovely huge hugs for you and for Jay.
