Is it ALWAYS the beast?
Yeh, Ready, I'm not much of a purist either. I have an inbuilt allergy to anything doctrinaire, purist, black OR white with nothing in between. I believe it's called dualism, and it ain't good for this particular drunk's intellectual or spiritual health and wellbeing.

I see your point Nonsensical. My stepfather often visits me in the Netherlands and he often leaves a six-pack of beer in the fridge for his next visit. In the first few months it bothered me a lot, so I took it out of the fridge and put it in his cabinet until he got back. The beer was still just a few feet away, but without the visual reminder every time I opened the fridge, it was a lot easier and I hardly thought about it. Now after 1,5 year it doesn't bother me anymore.
But I think it's logical, a visual triggers our memory of drinking and activates the desire for it. It's best to wait with the wine till you feel comfortable with it.
