This morning, I actually forgot that my sobriety comes first always and was more worried about going to work even though I was feeling unwell!

hey Nogard....

it's funny how our immune system plummets when we stop pumping crap into them....
usually around three weeks... for me anyway... my relapse time...
and it's like shock sets in... and unwellness generally follows...

I hope your gentle with yourself..

and don't be lonely Nogard...
ya got all us..... ;o)

Hey Mate,

Summers coming your way soon.

It was in the 40's (around 8 Centigrade) here in Texas today.

The old sun is headed down your way!

I know this probably sounds really dumb and obvious, but I have noticed that listening to music that has really off or has down lyrics is NOT at all helpful and I listen to music all the time, so I am being very picky now.

Kevin;
I think this is a good reminder too that we need to take care of ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually each and every day. When I take the time to do that, my recovery is in order. If the music is bringing you down, it's time to change the station for your emotional health. When you have the flu, take that day off and rest. If painting keeps you focused, do it, (and I've got some painting to do too, if you need more focusing, LOL!) Keeping that connection with your HP and others feeds our spirit.
Thanks for the reminder! I needed to hear it again...
I hope you are feeling better today!
Shalom!

End of the day here and I am doing much better and am now very alert, will be looking after myself and making sure I get enough meetings, contact with my peers and everything else I need on a daily basis.

Thanks to all of you, for taking the time to drop in and support me.

Sorry to hear you're feeling down. I was the same yesterday. Just the blah's and a bit of scratchy throat. Seems lots of people are getting this. Remember that October is the month where we lose a lot of daylight, so things might seem dreary. It's just the weather in a lot of cases.

Drink water, take a walk if you can, maybe a tanning session for some vits A,D. Hang in there and hang around SR.

Kevin,

Hope you are feeling better. Good job recogniizing that there was something wrong and fixing it. That's the great thing about living sober, we become aware of things we never knew about ourselves. Take care.
