Yep Dan and Carol I was just talking to a friend and he reminded me it was one day at a time no matter where I am in my recovery and Dan I got bumps too
hey Nogard....
it's funny how our immune system plummets when we stop pumping crap into them....
usually around three weeks... for me anyway... my relapse time...
and it's like shock sets in... and unwellness generally follows...
I hope your gentle with yourself..
and don't be lonely Nogard...
ya got all us..... ;o)

I know this probably sounds really dumb and obvious, but I have noticed that listening to music that has really off or has down lyrics is NOT at all helpful and I listen to music all the time, so I am being very picky now.
Kevin;
I think this is a good reminder too that we need to take care of ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually each and every day. When I take the time to do that, my recovery is in order. If the music is bringing you down, it's time to change the station for your emotional health. When you have the flu, take that day off and rest. If painting keeps you focused, do it, (and I've got some painting to do too, if you need more focusing, LOL!) Keeping that connection with your HP and others feeds our spirit.
Thanks for the reminder! I needed to hear it again...
I hope you are feeling better today!
Shalom!

Sorry to hear you're feeling down. I was the same yesterday. Just the blah's and a bit of scratchy throat. Seems lots of people are getting this. Remember that October is the month where we lose a lot of daylight, so things might seem dreary. It's just the weather in a lot of cases.
Drink water, take a walk if you can, maybe a tanning session for some vits A,D. Hang in there and hang around SR.

Hi Kevin,
I wanted to stop in to see if you were doing any better.
Still sending lots of hugs your way!
No matter what you go through or how bad or good it is, always remember to hold on.

Kevin,
Hope you are feeling better. Good job recogniizing that there was something wrong and fixing it. That's the great thing about living sober, we become aware of things we never knew about ourselves. Take care.
