Thanks Mags, in for the remainder of the weekend. I was in Barcelona for nearly the whole week at that Commerical meeting- am pretty tried after all the travel, meetings, dinners, etc.
And I think I might be coming down with something too. I won a few awards for my sales performance the last few years which was nice.

Woke up very late on Saturday, and not feeling well at all. Got up to take care of Billie and the cats, then went back to bed for a few hours. Woke up still feeling crummy so did a covid test - it was negative. No fever, no throwing up, just muscle aches and no appetite. Finally got out of bed in the mid afternoon, had a cup of coffee and ate some soup and started feeling better. Stayed up for the rest of the evening, went to bed late, at 3 am, but woke up at 4 am and can't get back to sleep. Going back to bed soon and hoping I can fall asleep again.

As a NY Jets/Mets/Knicks fan, I've become almost immune to the painful sting of losing. Superbowl? World Series? NBA Finals? Those are games my teams sit in the audience for. But enough of my whining. In times like these I don't care who wins as long as: It's a good game and/or my numbers come up. (Superbowl Pool). This will be my second without the specter of drinking hanging around. I also hope "Tay Tay" will be less visible.

I'll probably watch some of the Super Bowl as it's on one of the main TV channels here in the UK. However, as it's on through the early hours of the morning it's on too late for me to watch it until the end.

As an Eagles fan, no way can I root for those stinking 49er's, lol. Plus I will always have a soft spot for Andy Reid, so GO CHIEFS!!


Ms. Taylor Swift grew up in my part of PA, so there's that as well.

I’m from Philly so obviously a little bummed the Eagles aren’t in it. Now living in WA also was hoping the Heaks would get a shot.
I think that Sam had some great points!
I’m excited to see a close game.

Might make this buffalo chicken dip for my husband. But I’ll bet that my supermarket is sold out of cream cheese. Small town living means you need to stock up on ingredients way before the fact.

Go 49ers! Watching the Super Bowl and the puppy bowl today. I'll flip the stations. The 9ers have been fun to watch. I sure hope they can pull it off. It came around quickly this year. The Puppy Bowl has got some highlights on now. I wonder if Villalobos has any dogs or cats in the Bowl.

I will be asleep by the time the super bowl happens as I have to go to work tonight. I must say though, I am not an NFL fan but if I had to choose one it would be the Chiefs. I live in Kansas and I have a sister-in-law that is a huge 49ers fan. If they win she won't shut up for at least a year. A lot of people here are bothered by the whole Taylor Swift thing. Can't say I am. I cannot name one song she sings but my three daughters all love her music. And at least we know she's not some gold digger after Kelce's money which is why a lot of girls go after pro sports players.
