As day 4 comes to an end... I had some anxiety.... I slept only 4 hours last night.... but I am feeling much better.... went on another run.... nailed a job interview for a great position... got a ton of errands done for my move ... I hope I sleep better tonight. I had a nightmare that I was drunk last night.... woke up so happy that I wasn't ...Thank you again everyone

Good choices, AJ.

Sobriety delivers everything it promises, just not Al, at the same time.

Sounds like you are reaping some of the benefits.

Good sleep didn’t come to me for about three weeks, not bad after abusing myself for about 30 years.

Big hugs

Great that you stay pointed towards your recovery even with a few mishaps.

Keep your recovery alive and good progress for today

Great news Aj. Those drinking dreams can be upsetting, i still get the odd one and even feel gutted in my dream for drinking. Such a relief when i wake up sober.
Congratulations again. Great on the interview i never seem to come out well in those myself🙃.

AJ, you can outgrow this if you give it a fighting chance. Dust yourself off, pick yourself up, take whatever action is necessary to get your ex boyfriend out of your life forever, and start your knew sober life. The anxiety will begin to lessen when you hit it head on without the alcohol, and soon you will begin to regain your own inner strength.

Great job checking-in.

Sorry your feeling down.

Perhaps journal about it. Do you journal AJ? I will write out my mood out by just talking about it with myself on a document.
