Robbie, would you want to learn swimming if you got the opportunity? There are probably adult swimming lessons available.

I've thought about it a few times, mainly when I was in my late teens and early 20s. I'm not sure I'd want to walk about in swimming trunks now though! I don't have the body for them...

Robbie I was going to say no one sees you when you’re in the water. But getting to the water you could maybe borrow Harry Potter’s cloak of invisibility.

I could do with that cloak.

Actually I'm not quite as bad as that these days but I would need to lose a lot more weight before I'd venture out of the changing rooms in anything other than baggy T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms...

The baths in my local leisure centre are on the floor below the gym. From the front of the gym, where all the bikes, treadmills, rowers, cross trainers etc are, and where most people are exercising, you can see over the balcony and watch everyone who is in the swimming pool. There's nowhere to hide, even in the water!
