By popular request, here's the MesaPup Pic I almost posted earlier today. Life's rough. He's now all tuckered out from a solid Hour of Tennis Ball chucking.

We do get nice Dark Skies out this way, and can often see Satellites whizzing overhead on the Polar Route. North -> South instead of Equatorial.

I'm up a little bit earlier today than usual but I'm glad I got up early as I saw the most beautiful sunrise. It's a good way to start the week.

I have been in snooty Hampstead today. Parts of it are full of enormous houses that are empty most of the time.

I think I may take a nap too, Least. I didn't sleep all that well last night and after visiting my mom, I feel exhausted. I stayed for a couple of hours talking and watching TV with mom. Thankfully, we had a better visit today than yesterday. Also, thankful she is being released on Wednesday. I have to finish vacuuming today and tomorrow, go to the grocery store so I have something in the house my mom can eat. But for now, I think a little nap sounds good too.
Watching some of the old Peter Sellars Pink Panther movies. I think they are so funny and I haven't seen them in ages. Good for watching when you just want light, funny fare! I would surprise myself at how much I would laugh at these movies.

Had a nice little nap with Billie. Woke up at 4. I've got to call ek tonight at 8 (my time) to chat as today is her birthday. I can't believe my first baby is 46 now. She sent me a lovely card with pictures of her boys and their two cats. They are all so handsome. My gosh they're growing up so fast.

End of Day 86. The toxic atmosphere at work brought out my AV today. But I told myself that drinking will only provide temporary relief and bring back all the additional tension tomorrow.

All good now after a long walk with my little son. Wishing you all a sober day ahead!
