Billie didn't touch her breakfast today but finally ate it at supper time. She's not been sick so I don't know why she didn't eat this morning. 
My feet are still numb but not as painful as they were. And my back pain is a little better than it was. I'll take any improvement, and be glad for it.

I hope you and Billie are ok Least. Did you mention her bouts of sickness to the vet the other day?
My Doctor thinks my eye swelling might of been a reaction to my blood pressure medication. I have been on it for years but apparently your body can suddenly react to it. So I have to stop taking it and take a blood pressure reading everyday for a few weeks while she decides what to put me on.
I also have to have some blood tests etc.
Hoping to do a long therapy walk somewhere nice later today. Willows beach would be perfect.

Aly, that sounds like a really tough situation with your mom. I hope she can go home soon.

Calmself, you are doing really well! Even if you don't get a job from this round of interviews, you worked really hard, and your preparation WILL pay off at some point.
I am going to whine a little tiny bit. My job is truly becoming unbearable. There are things going on with personnel that could mean I won't even have a job to quit! Not sure how it will all shake out, but one colleague is causing ripples that could possibly mean a huge reorganization. It's extremely stressful. I can leave this job when I need to, I'd financially be OK, but the benefits are so great and the location is so convenient for me that I keep hanging on, hoping things get better, or that another job opens up on campus that might be less painful for me. Not sure how much longer I can take it. And my daughter is moving on Saturday, and she's not taking the packing part very seriously. I'n really starting to nag her but it seems to make little difference. She seems to feel like it's all going to be magically fine. UGH. And it is arctic cold here. Which just makes everything more difficult. -20 F this morning with a wind chill of about -32. Ok, whine over. Other people have much bigger problems.
But you know what would make all of it worse? Drinking. And honestly, I haven't even thought about it.

MLD, I hope the situation improves. There are so many job openings right now that are going unfilled, you'd thing they would be appreciative of a loyal person like yourself.
