The longer I am sober the less I notice these things - I remember others with more experience than me saying the same when I was trying to get sober back in the day. Now I understand.

I don't have television and I have two ad blockers on my browser, so I'm rarely troubled by ads. That said, I never notice them anyway unless it's for something I need or want, and only then am I interested. The ads for alcohol - I no longer drink, nor do I want to, so advertising for alcohol doesn't get my attention.
