Because the message said something like you have been denied access blah blah my first thought was oh is it just me, what have I done! And then I started laughing to myself because that is just such self obsessed, self centred thinking, something that us alcoholics are full of! Of course it has to be about me!!!!! My 2nd thought was , there are some tech issues going on I'll try later and voila!

Not to worry @Dee74 , a slight slip of the finger on the keyboard, we'll blame it on auto-correct lol. It is good to know the address of the back-up site though and now have it in my "favorites"!

Well Dee, your actions actually highlighted how much this site means to me. I don’t post that much, but I read a lot. These forums are so important in many ways and especially now with COVID-19.....a bit of virtual contact is comforting to me.

New day tho. Although I take my mistakes seriously, ruminating on them and repeatedly smacking myself in the head is no longer my go to thing

You're human, like the rest of us. I once crashed an inspection system at a seaport overseas, 11 hour time difference. It had to be updated from the US remotely. Pretty happy to know what happened, but I truly hope you don't feel bad or put too much pressure on yourself.

Thanks for this thread and for sorting the forum issue so quickly. I wasn't personally fazed when I couldn't log in as I knew I'd been behaving myself recently (being that I'm not drinking). I just assumed the whole forum was down.

Dee, thank you so much for everything you do. If there is one person who embodies all the best things about SR, and has the most positive influence on the many people who rely on this site, it is most definitely YOU. Those of us who heavily rely on technology to do our jobs are very aware that it's not a matter of IF something goes wrong, it's just what and when - this kind of thing happens so frequently, to all of us.
