SR helped me turn my life around. It gave me support and understanding...and a little hope there was an alternative to addiction

Great question to ask yourself. For me a plan(s) (tool box) was without question, a lifesaver. Without having anyway to guide me in recovery I floundered a lot. Addiction/Mental Illness is what I got. Daily wellness practice with psychiatric meds, Buddhish/Naturalistic tendencies, humanistic concerns and my religion of kindness help me avoid the loony bin.

Maybe find something that could work for you. You are worth the effort

wekcome, and yeah, the will helps. hm...i wonder just now if there isn’t more than one will here: the will to quit, and the will for sobriety.
maybe just semantics, don’t know, but might you have will for sobriety?

I never thought I’d be able to quit and more importantly, be able to stay quit.
but with the right tools and mindset, it’s possible.
You can do this.
