Good your Mum has agreed to talk to the police and drop charges sortofhomcomin'. She's on your side otherwise she would not bother. Families get over it. The drinker, that is. Mine did, have improved since getting sober. I was hopeless when I drank.

I hope she drops the charges.

I hope you start to look after yourself and get back to being sober. It is so much better.

I think my sister suspected I was drinking in secret, rather than just the one slip, and would be a threat to my mum. I think she also thought I was just sitting around and not looking for a job. I sent her my spreadsheets with my job applications, my accomodation applications and so. This seems to have reassured her and she sent me back a very nice email.

And now my bike derailleur is screwed because some idiot left plastic tarpaulin across the road. I will have to explain to my mum that I have no money for her tomorrow and will have to borrow more off her to get my bike repaired.
