I'm back for good this time...
Toast is better than nothing. My mother swears by dry toast being good for you. It's especially true if you have an upset stomach.
If you haven't anything planned then maybe have a lazy day? Post here at SR, stretch out on the settee, take it easy and don't be too hard on yourself. Us alcoholics love to beat ourselves up (not literally of course!) by being too hard on ourselves. Half the time that provides the excuse to drink again next time.

Just feel like I've been here so many times before. Why do I keep doing it knowing what the outcome will be , it's so sad it's almost funny.

The insanity of the first drink. Without help we are powerless against the first drink in my experience. There is a solution. Stay close to SR and look at AA is my recommendation.
Withdrawal kicking in now, brain has gone to mush can barely think straight, talk properly, shakes starting. Horrible
Sometimes we just have to do whatever it takes whether
we believe in it or not. So many did the footwork and then
the belief came. Dont read too much into them. Dont analyze
them. Just do it. If not AA, then follow what others that are
successful in their own recovery progress.
Eventually something will stick.
It is in the not doing anything that we will never be successful.
It takes action. It's not gonna happen if we just sit and think
about it. It wont just miraculously happen that we instantly
become cured, happy, healthy and so on.
I'm just saying. Those were lessons taught to me and countless
others living their lives in recovery and enjoying it.

James90: You’re doing the right thing by posting often.
The next couple of days will have some seriously tough moments.
Stay hydrated. After 8hrs your body can receive vitamins/nutrients.
Take it easy, get through it, you know how this goes.

Feeling much better today, no anxiety or feeling down. Amazing how much the drink impacts your thoughts without you even realising.
Back to work tomorow and thinking more positive.
