Getting better
Getting better
Well tomorrow I start my new job. It is located in a quaint town with a lot of pretty lights and pubs. I also leave work about "lunch time"
while training. I need to stay vigilante. I need to remember the raw pain.
I have a lot of responsibilities to tend to. Cleaning vacant apartment.
(white rug is a mess) giving back keys- lost a set they lent me
Still go on the portal and work out paying back the last month rent.
I have not had much cash on me which has been helping me tremendously (sad) I have a little Christmas $ but I need to get some items I have run out of. NO DRINKS.
Just posting out my fears and concerns. When I first started posting all I had was a ride to a meeting and one dollar. My world is opening up a little bit and I am scared. I need to remember the pain and most important this commitment to myself.
Thank you for support

So proud of you, faith. You're right - never forget the pain & misery that brought you to your knees. This was where I failed a few times - and it cost me dearly. You are self aware & that's great. Be kind & patient with yourself. You are doing this!

Glad you're still sober Faith! You and I had around the same number of days, and then I had a short relapse after Christmas and right before New Years. I got it shut down at day 3 and am back on day 13. When I hadn't seen you post in a while, I was worried you'd suffered the same fate.
Your posts were helpful to me, and I'm so very happy for you that it was "technical troubles" and not booze preventing you from posting.
Congrats on 80 days!!

I'm happy to hear you're still sober and about the new job! Congratulations.
We started about the same time. I'm on day 82 and I was always cheering for you! I must admit that I was starting to worry as well. So glad to hear that all is well.
