Typically not a part of these threads, but felt compelled. Very fun to see the younger generation dress up at work, everyone bringing food and generally being in the spirit of Halloween, I'm middle aged, but I like to see traditions survive. On the other hand, when I left work, it was right back to reality...hit the gym, get home eat, pack for tomorrow and life goes on. I wish everyone a sober weekend.

Urgh. Partying housemates just got in at 1am, staying up. Thankfully this is uncommon these days but it's still rough to deal with. A lot easier than in the first month though. But yeah, horrible drugs and alcohol, one room over. Yuck.

I'm in, especially now that I don't find sobriety spooky anymore . . .

Snooz sending you hugs.

A picture of my crew. Shortly after the photo shoot, they were put out on my front lawn. I have a couple of mechanical bats (on fishing line) flying circles in the front also. The kids love it.....

Hiya Weekenders

Congratulations on 30 days Jaz

Congratulations Snoozy and Shaun on your wedding anniversary ❤️
Beautiful photo of you and Claire

Dragon , your Halloween monsters are great! I can imagine everyone loving them.

There was lots of little ghosts, Dracula’s and monsters roaming the streets last night, early evening, they looked delightful.

Back at hospital for me this morning, so ts no coffee, tea, chocolate or fizzy drinks, before the appointment.

Have a good All Hallows' Day,

Pinch, punch, first of the Month........White Rabbits,

Thanks harriet, it shows what thick makeup and restricted pixels can do. I was a pretty awesome grandad too last night spending 10 minutes helping them look for two lost mini chocolate bars that I had eaten about half an hour previously.

Happy Anniversary Snoozy and I send positive vibes at this difficult time.

Good luck at the hospital Mags.

Morning all,

Congratulations on your anniversary Snoozy.

Nice pics Dragon. Looks like lots of fun was had.

I hope the house party was bearable Tetrax.

Sao a good Grandad ploy, eat the mini rolls and pretend they are hidden. Hours of fun!

Mags I hope you get your new medications sorted at the hospital today. Good luck.

I am proud to say it is my 1 year sobriety anniversary today. Something I never thought I would achieve.

Hi all, happy friday.

Just checking in from work this morning. I stayed up til 1:30am last night because I'm dumb, so I'm pretty tired right now. I will say though, regular exhaustion feels fine compared to hungover after drunk sleep. I have a two hour early departure though, because I donated to a charity drive we hold every year so I'll be out of here by 1:30. Good stuff.

Kaily, I said this on your thread too, but congrats on a year. What an excellent achievement. I know you've fought really hard so I hope you are really proud of yourself.

Got boxing later then probably laundry and cleaning for the evening. I have Saturdays off now! I dunno what I'm gonna do with all that free time, hah.

Happy Friday everyone.

Well done on donating to that charity drive dpac.

Huge congratulations on your sober anniversary Kaily, great stuff! I know it's not easy but to anyone reading this who thinks "I can't even go a fortnight without booze" it can be done.

Despite looking like him I've not posted any Alice Cooper. This will rectify the situation.
