It's going to get better. Just give it a little time, okay?
You can rebuild, you can work on your career, you can make new friends or apologize and move forward with the old ones. You just need some sober time - so focus on that right now.
I know it's hard to work a job you hate. Stay sober for at least a month and you can maybe start looking into some other options.

I just handled something at work that I would have tried to run from if I was drinking last night.
Sure I still have anxiety, a lot more than I had when I was 13 months sober. I had higher than other people's anxiety baseline at that tithe too though.
I also feel more scatterbrained than I have ever been.
Alcohol is the devil.
