You are awesome. Very good choice. Slam some water and get some food, and spend the day here if you can. 21 days ago I would have been pretty well drunk by now(its 10:40 here). I easily would have drank a half or 3/4 of a pint of rum. The time rolls buy but having not drank for awhile I sure dont miss it.
We have lots of good suggestions. This is a list of various recovery programs and lots of tips from our members on how they stopped:

for me it was just deciding to finally give it a try. dont buy alcohol, dont drink alcohol. They say its simple but not easy. Reading posts on this site will provide you with a lot more info and alot better info than I can provide. There are some truly great, strong people here. Lost(tons) of info here. Read some sobriety stories in that section, and read and post in the newcomers section. Thats why I suggested spending the day here. If you want to commit to not drinking joint the june class thread just by starting to post there. I come and read and post because it has a way of keeping me from drinking. Constant reminders and it burns into your subconscious. Best of luck to you. Its a great day to not drink and a good day to quit forever.
Read and post here, change your schedule, talk to other sober folks, go to meetings if they're in your area, see your doctor, get an addiction counselor, to name a few different things that can help.
Everyone is different and will need different things for their recovery. There are people who use SR as their main resource, but I have found that this forum and in person meetings are doing it for me.
I would drink some water and get some food and see if you can get to a meeting, if only to pass the time. It's a good way to get real life support and connect with people who are going through the same thing. Be open and transparent with your addiction and your struggles. It feels good to get it all out there sometimes.
Above all, just don't drink. And check out that link Anna posted. It's a good starting point.

Dumping the rest is the smart move.
7am drinking never ends well.
You came here to SR for a reason - keep that flame alive - let your actions show your commitment to being sober man...dump the booze
