I choose to look forward rather than worry about what’s behind me, I can’t change the past but I can change the future, have a great day everyone

I second that.

We wouldnt be here if we didnt realize we're in need of healing.

Most of us have had enough negativity on our news feeds, tv shows, lives in general.

We're trying to find our way out of the dark, not add to it

In reality, there is no glass. It's metaphorical. It was put there by the originator as a form of measurement. I'm not even sure what is in the glass. I don't know if what we are measuring is something that can be measured quantitatively or not. I saw a video about a man's life being destroyed by alcohol, a guy now hanging by a thread.

I'm not even sure why that metaphor popped into my mind. I guess I was trying to compare what that guy's life is like now to what it could have been.

What IS and COULD BE NOW is a better focus for me.

He has a lot to offer to those still sick and suffering in his former profession and others.

He has valuable experience.

I think he does, and I don't want to diminish the value of the video. Whatever reaction people have to the story is personal, but the message is still worthwhile for some. It certainly inspires me not to have another drink.

Bohochic are you having a laugh, I don’t have a habit of posting depressing things, quite the opposite

IDK, I think one of the moderators need to chime in on this one.

To me, this is not "safe and welcoming" so maybe we should leave it for Dee or Anna.

Its not funny to anyone I think. Just depressing and possibly triggering.

Oh, Mummy...please don't let someone run you off. Just put them on ignore and you won't see their posts. Don't leave a supportive group just because of one or two rude people.

May I remind everyone that personal attacks are in violation of Rule#4.

We all have a choice as to what videos we watch. Please be advised, I'm closing this thread until the appropriate moderators can take a look.

I unapproved several posts that were personal attacks.

The thread will stay closed.

There is absolutely no need to read posts from someone who upsets you. Please make use of the IGNORE function.
