Hope your sleep is getting better D! I did the same as JJ and it worked really well. I got up early at the same time everyday regardless of how tired I feel. Resisted the urge to have an afternoon nap and made sure I went to bed for around 9-9:30pm every night. My body soon learned a new routine and was less confused as it got into set times and sleep got better.

I also listened to the insight timer app and found a good 45 minute meditation called “Deep Relaxation and Anchoring Confidence” by Barb Aasen. I put in on when I get in bed and it’s brilliant for settling your mind and racing thoughts. Then going to sleep calm and feeling positive meant I started to wake up less stressed. xx

Thanks everyone, I'm normally in bed by 9-10pm and always awake early with work/school run, so that's a normal routine for me anyway, it's just staying asleep that's the problem at the moment, I'm sure it will get better, it's just the here an now that's a challenge.
I will stay sober .........
I'm not going back.........
🙏💖

Totally agree with Taooo. Re just on focusing on staying sober and leave gym s and diets etc aside for time being, If you overdo it at gym and your body is still healing from alcohol abuse it can totally drain your resolve, I'd suggest go easy , treat yourself to that pizza or doughnut etc

I've got all the 'f's' today.....
F- you....
F-him.....
F-her....
F-this..
F-that
Just an angry elf today 😂
Gonna give my head a wobble, concentrate, focus, breath.
Even though I have the "f's" today I'm staying on the bus. 😊
I have cleaning on my mind today,
And that's all I have to do.
Have a lovely f-ing day 😂
🙏💖
