Man, I'm just holding on now, Ffs sake, help me please. I can't do this. Pushing all feeling down , man I feel raw, I feel fragmented, I feel lost ,I feel helpless. Man!!!!!!!!!

Keep fighting till the fight is won.
Then you will have peace.
It’s all consuming at the moment but you are getting through it.
Give it time. Give yourself to your new life and watch it grow in to something worth keeping.
You lived the messed up life now you’re closing the book and start to a new worthwhile one full of opportunity.
You can have it all OR you can drink
Can’t have both.
It’s hard to think when you’re brain doesn’t want to do what it’s supposed to.
Goes against the grain to ignore our emotions/feelings.
But if you want to succeed keep it simple for now and don’t drink.
Cravings last around 9mins
Then you will have peace.

Hey Doris - breathe...it's gonna be ok.
When things got too much for me I'd breathe and remember that all I had to do today was not drink booze. Not easy maybe but simple.
If I didn't buy it and I had none in the house and I was home for the evening...I had won for that day and I knew I'd be a little stronger the next day.
If music is stirring up memories and feelings right now it's ok to put ti to once side - just for a little while. Things will not always be this hard or even this way,
If like me you need music...use your imagination. Try new artists new genres.
I didn't have a trigger problem with music but a lot of it was too much for my brain at that point.
I actually got into classical music when I quit - it soothed me and it didn't trigger me.
