Congrats!! And what a beautiful post. Children are some of the best teachers that pure unadulterated joy does not come from the bottle. Interesting that “un-adult” is part of the concept of pure. I digress. What I’m trying to say is this was an inspiring read and I am very happy for you and your sweet family.

Thank you everyone for the thoughts and wishes.
On a side note, on three different occasions I was offered a drink to congratulate and each time it was just so natural and easy to say no thank you, I'm not drinking these days. Looking forward to a world where everyone knows me as someone who just doesn't drink.
Swooning with love for this little, restless turd. Feels like the only way to really be here for everyone who needs me is completely sober. Onward and upward sober family.

I can think of no better and noble means to fuel and reinforce your sobriety than that awesome little creature you are currently swooning over.
Seems to me it couldn't have happened at a better time.
