Congratulations on having the foresight to post on here instead of starting to drink again. I am glad to see it worked!

Good job, Rar.

Nobody promised me smooth sailing every day.

I have a 100% success record of surviving the down days. A good chunk of my life I've been sober while doing it and it's far better than drinking.

Hang on, it gets MUCH better, you're still in early days.

Rar,

I don't think we've "met" yet! Clearly you have made a big impact on this community and have so much to offer. Great going with rereading your old post and recognizing the old pitfalls and patterns. Amazing and telling that it also was on your 69th day. So happy you are now on your 70th! Way to go.

Looking forward to hearing more from you!

That’s the spirit rar, I’m so pleased you didn’t lose you.
One day at a time till you have a bit more energy.
Tell yourself you are doing enough when you are tired.
No need to think too far ahead.

((hug))

I want to give you a big hug. I'm sorry for all your sadness. Your victory over the AV has motivated me to enjoy another sober evening. Thank you.
