Hi, weekenders.
I am MIA doing some soul searching. Going through another stage of feeling lost in life.
And just so want winter to be over!
Have a great day, everyone.

Good to see you MB, sorry you are feeling lost right now but your situation today seems so much better than it was two or three years ago.
Congratulations on 21 days Komplex.
No more spending the weekend poisoning myself and ruining my relationships.
Carpe Diem!

One MIA here, Dee. But I'm happy to report that today marks 4 years since I put a plug in the jug. I have SR to thank for helping me through the difficult few months, and beyond. I seriously doubt if i could have done it without SR. I remember posting about the terrible brain fog...I was convinced that I had damaged my brain....and I was reassured that it will pass. It did. In the beginning, I stayed close to SR, reading and posting many times per day. I made it through and my life is good now.
So anyway, I could go on and on. I just want to encourage those who are struggling to keep going. It's difficult in the beginning, but I guarantee that it gets better. Stay close to SR, post your worries and concerns. There is so much experience, strength and hope here and SR will get you through the hard times, as it did me. Thank you, SR. Thank you Dee, for always being here.

This is quite a journey, isn't it! I am so proud of you and so glad you shared your inspiring milestone here today, especially for those newer to sobriety or those struggling. It really can happen.

Congratulations, HAF! I also give SR a ton of credit for helping me through the early days. I felt so lost at first, and being able to come here and vent and share with people who "get it" was a lifesaver.
To anyone struggling, it does get better!
Hello All! I admit I've been slacking lately on checking in. I've got some health challenges I'm working through and with it being smack dab in the middle of the gray, dark, yuck winter here in Vermont, it is hard for me at times to get motivated for anything. However.........I am here checking in and super grateful for the weekender thread! Thank you all
