203 days seems absolutely increadible to me Love. If you can do that you can do this. It's a blip, a bump in the road. You can turn it around. We can help. Promise! Gabe x

Oh well you went out again. You don't have to give up. You're still alive. If you want to quit drinking then get back on the horse and just learn from your mistake.

Hi LoveForMe,

I'm so glad you came on here and posted last night, and I hope to see you on here today. I have had many Day Ones, and I know they aren't easy, but you can get through today, and you know that sobriety is worth it.

What were you doing to help you stay sober for the past 203 days? Think about what you can add to this plan. Relapses don't tend to pop out of the blue, we can almost see them coming. Think back to the days/weeks leading up to drinking, was the thought of drinking popping into your head? What can you add to your recovery plan to help you next time that happens?

Please don't give up, today is a new day, and a great one to be sober. I will have two years sober on January 1st, but if you look at my join date it is 2012. I had many Day Ones, and with the help of SR finally got it right. Reading and posting on here really does help.

I will be checking in throughout the day, and hope to see you!!

Thank you everyone for the support and encouragement 😊

I'm feeling positive this morning and ready to move past this. I didn't even enjoy one minute of it. I don't like the way it made me feel and act. My drunk self grosses me out. I don't ever want to let her out again.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Ahhh, I'm so glad for you! My drunk self gives me the absolute creeps. She's a letch. I'm really happy you feel better today and back to your lovely sober self. Merry Christmas! 🎁🎉💗

Booze isn't your best friend LFM--it's your worst enemy. Those 203 days aren't wasted; they are a learning experience and you can use them to re-plot your sobriety. It's rough, I know. I had many relapses and two inpatient rehabs in 5 years before something really clicked. Dust yourself off and stick close by here. Best wishes for peace and strength for you as you continue your sober journey.

Hope you are doing ok? I relapsed myself after 6 months. It was miserable. Hope we can both get back on track now after comprehensively proving to ourselves that alcohol just doesn't work for us anymore......
