Congrats on day 2 Alison

I recommend thinking about making a recovery plan - it really helps:

Hi Alison - Way to go on Day 2!

It get's better by the day .. Trust me! The feeling of freedom from bondage of alcohol is wonderful ... But you gotta want it more than anything!

Time to make a plan "for later in week" and beyond... Please review Dee's post above and see what you can do!

Alison - great job getting to day 2. Just keep doing it one day at a time. We are here for support. And of course, like the other - I strongly suggest getting a plan. Make it happen - you can do this!!

Congratulations on day 2, Alison! One day after another-that's how we get sober time. It gets easier but I well know the feeling of giving in and drinking. I nearly killed myself in a crash 18 months ago and now I am very grateful to be here and sober and celebrating another birthday today. Keep up the good work. SR does feel like family, but without judgement, only support and excellent advice.

Congrats! I'm early on in my sober road, but the first several days are great to get through and keep going. I find that thinking about posting here and hearing from others makes it quite easy to say no.

Congratulations, Alison! Keep it up,.. take it a day at a time, and you'll feel better and better. If you feel the need, come here and post and there will be friends to help you through it.

Verdantia, Happy Birthday! You have a lot to celebrate! Very happy for you.
