Hey everybody, day 6 for me today!!! Ya hoo. I'm feeling so much better. What is really kinda cool is to go back and read what I wrote on day 1 or day 2 and I'm soooo gratefull that I'm not there right now! My husband and I are not speaking to much right now but thats ok. Keep going everybody and stay out of slippery spots this weekend. Love to all

Two whole weeks today. Decided not to go watch my partner play the drums, Its a bueatifull Hot day here and I'm HANGING for a beer. So I'm afraid I'll have to stay well away from pubs for a little bit longer. Some days are fine but today my minds saying hey two weeks sober you deserve a drink for that!!!!! I know ridiculas isnt it. Well done everyone lets keep on keeping on.

Thought I'd jump on this thread... Day 7 for me. The withdrawal is h#ll, worst yet, but I am reaching out as if my life depends on it... which it does. I am going to meetings, calling people, reading recovery literature, hanging on this board... whatever it takes.

HI EVERYONE This is my 12 day clean. I've been going to a group for 4 hrs Mon-Fri & it is such a blessing to me. I thank God for all HE has been doing in my life & I pray for HIS guidance each day. God's peace.

hi gang, day 3 for me, feeling a bit titchy here, but typing to keep the old hands busy and telling myself i really dont need wine to cook dinner or even eat it, there is plenty of cool drink in the house, let alone WATER!!!

Hey, all. I am on day 8. I made it my first week. Yeah! I'm nervous about what happens next, but try to keep remembering that the present and future will take care of itself if I just stay clean and sober. Keep on folks. We can DO this.

Today was day 11 and I'm making it. Had some difficult situations today but made it through them clean and sober. I dealt with my feelings instead of numbing them.

And a good Monday Morning to you all.
I made it through the weekend and am happy to say today is day 7 for me.

Starting to realize what a fog I have been in for so long. Nice to have the old melon clearing out a bit.
