I'm familiar with the alcoholic redemption narrative, and I can of course relate to much of what you wrote, namely the not following good advice part, but my problem is that I know full well that the lash of John Barleycorn will be a cruel advocate indeed.

Hopefully Kaily will give us an update sooner rather than later.

Hahaha...I get this. When I talk to a really good friend and he asks me how I am doing (checks in often) my response is...I am still showering daily. What an added perk! It is the little things that make you proud. And I am in my early days!
